Katy acts for a wide range of clients, guiding them through the divorce process and assisting where there are complex financial arrangements that need to be resolved. Katy also acts for clients whose legal problems include a complex international element.
Best career moment: Having a case in which I assisted reported in the press. We acted for a father whose former wife had relocated abroad with their two children. He was having minimal contact with them and we wanted the courts in England to deal with it – the High Court decided that it could.
Katy assisted Louise Halford in the reported case of AP v TD in which the High Court considered issues of jurisdiction in the context of relocation with children abroad.
Katy is a member of Resolution.
