Availability of financial assistance

You may be able to obtain financial support. This may come in the form of sick pay or benefits from the Government.

State benefits system

The benefits you are entitled to will depend on your particular circumstances. Benefits may include Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

You should be aware that if you already receive means tested benefits, payment of Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit may disqualify you from receiving the means-tested benefits. If you would like more information about this we would be happy to discuss your benefits position with you and tell you if you need specialist advice in this respect.

Interim payment
