Paying taxes in France: French tax deadlines 2011

1 January 2011:  Beginning of the French tax year. The French tax year follows the calendar year, running from 1 January to 31 December.
15 February 2011:  Payment of 1st instalment of 2010 income tax calculated as of 2009 liability (if no option of monthly payments)
30 April 2011:  Société Civile Immobilière: Deadline for filing return of income.
15 May 2011:  Payment of 2nd instalment of 2010  income tax calculated as of 2009 liability
16 May 2011:  Foreign company: Deadline for filing 3% tax form
31 May 2011:  French residents: Deadline for filing 2010 French income tax returns
15 June 2011:  French residents: Deadline for filing of 2011 wealth tax return
30 June 2011:  Non residents (EU): Deadline for filing income tax returns
16 July 2011:  Non residents (outside EU): Deadline for filing French income tax return
16 July 2011:  Non residents (EU): Deadline for filing 2011 wealth tax return
31 August 2011:  Non residents (outside the EU): Filing of 2011 wealth tax return
From September 2011:  Payment of 2010 income tax, less any payments made earlier in the year
15 October 2011:  Deadline payment for Taxe fonciere
15 November 2011:  Deadline payment for Taxe d’habitation
