If we act for you under Advantage, the budget allows you to see at a glance what you are spending at any point in time. The budgeting service provides a framework for the case, a breakdown of the work necessary, a detailed breakdown of who will be doing that work and how much it will cost at each stage.
The initial budget provided to you is monitored and updated as the case progresses or changes. At any stage, we can accurately estimate what each part of the dispute will cost and what the total litigation costs are likely to be. As the case progresses, we supply comparisons of actual costs against estimated costs and can therefore review and update budgets on a regular basis. These regular reviews mean that tactics in litigation can be changed and commercial decisions can be kept under review at the same time.
