The Banking and Finance team also advises financial institutions dealing with distressed corporates, and accountancy professionals engaged in restructuring and recovery transactions. The work the Banking and Finance team is involved in includes undertaking security reviews, and providing advice on strategic security enforcement and intercreditor issues, whether in anticipation of, or dealing with, insolvency proceedings.
The team works closely with the firm's corporate recovery team, and undertakes work relating to corporate reorganisations and reconstruction, debt restructuring (including through invoice finance) and refinancing, through to insolvency procedures such as administration, receiverships, voluntary arrangements, liquidation and bankruptcy.
