Our Environment team is a recognised leader in the region for contaminated land advice. Keith Davidson acted for Irwell Valley and successfully prevented the Council from initiating Part 2A contaminated land proceedings. He was also involved in high profile Part 2A issues at Leftwich after two toddlers died from leukaemia and Part 2A proceedings were brought against the housing association.
Asbestos
Our multi-disciplinary Environment team contains two top ranked Chambers solicitors for asbestos advice - Pauline Chandler (mesothelioma claims) and Keith Davidson (asbestos compliance). Our Regulatory team lead by John Gollaglee is currently advising a housing association in relation to asbestos at work issues.
Low Carbon
Keith Davidson is Lead Commissioner for Greater Manchester’s Low Carbon Economic Area for the Built Environment. The five year programme will help create 38,000 low carbon jobs and make the Greater Manchester the UK hub for large retrofitting projects. Most of the early work is being undertaken in the social housing sector.
