Emma studied Law at Manchester University and lectured in Law before qualifying in 1994. Emma joined the Clinical Negligence department at Pannone in 1995, became a partner in 1998 and Head of Department in 2008. Emma was appointed Managing Partner in 2010.
Throughout her career Emma’s work has involved representing people in clinical and medical negligence compensation claims. Her workload was varied and included a substantial number of cases of maximum severity, cerebral palsy and birth injuries, health law and cases involving alleged breaches of human rights in relation to medical treatment.
Emma is a member of the Law Society Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel, a member of the AvMA Solicitors Referral Panel, a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), and a member of the Association of Disciplinary and Regulatory Lawyers (ARDL).
Emma is a recognised “Leader in her Field” in the Legal 500 and Chambers, where she is described as “really top notch” and “extremely impressive”.
