Danny is a Partner in the Corporate Finance team. He advises clients in all sectors although has particular expertise in the software and healthcare sectors, as well as advising clients of all sizes from banks and listed companies to small and medium sized enterprises and new start ups.
Danny specialises primarily in M&A and junior public markets, with particular expertise in:
- acquisitions, disposals and mergers
- IPOs to the AIM market and providing advice to AIM listed companies, their directors and nominated advisers
- public to private transactions of AIM listed companies by way of scheme of arrangement
- acquisitions and disposals of businesses and assets
- management buy-outs and management buy-ins
- corporate re-organisations and demergers
- debt and equity investments, joint venture and shareholder agreements and general company and commercial advice, including new start ups
His clients include Hasgrove plc, 2ergo Group plc, Impact Holdings (UK) plc, Begbies Traynor Group plc, Telstar Industrial S.L, EnGlobe Corp (Toronto Stock Exchange), Dover Corporation (New York Stock Exchange) and Zeus Capital.
Best career moment: Getting over the line to complete a disposal to United Utilities of 1st Software, a provider of software to the financial services sector. The exchange meeting ran for a marathon 41 hours, and it was rewarding to know we had negotiated a good result for our clients, resulting in a full payment under complex earn out provisions and a problem free exit!

- advising Offeror on the take private of Accuma Group plc
- advising AIM listed clients Hasgrove plc, Impact Holdings (UK) plc and 2ergo Group plc on a number of acquisitions
- advising the companies on their successful IPO’s on AIM; Broca plc, Hasgrove plc and CBG Group plc
- advising the shareholders on the disposal of Independent Specialist Technology Limited (1st Software) to United UtilitiespPlc
- advising on a number of acquisitions and disposals for Rentokil Initial Group plc.
- Advising the company in respect of a reverse takeover and re-admission on AIM; Hitchens plc
- advising on the Admission to the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange of Marlwood plc and secondary fundraisings
- acting for vendors on the reverse takeover of Plain Software Limited by Avia Health Informatics plc and its admission to trading on AIM
Danny qualified, after training with the firm, in 2003 and became a partner in 2010.
