Pannone rebrands and launches new website

Law firm Pannone has rebranded in a move to embrace the changing legal landscape and position itself for further growth.

The refreshed visual identity reflects the firm’s core values of ‘energy and excellence in all that we do’ and strengthens the perception of the Pannone brand.

Managing Partner Emma Holt says: “Pannone is a very strong name in the market and a national leader in a number of legal fields. Our new brand identity is a powerful tool to differentiate the firm from its competitors and communicate our core values to existing and future clients.

“The legal market is changing rapidly, particularly with the Legal Services Act. At Pannone we embrace change and are excited about future opportunities.

Pannone’s Business Development team instructed  Manchester communications and design agency, Epigram, to help complete the rebrand. It was a six month project that started with internal partner workshops to identify common strengths and values across the divisions.

The firm also undertook in-depth research with clients to gauge the perception of Pannone in the market and identify its strengths and weaknesses.

The feedback from the workshops and research was used to define Pannone’s core values and create its visual identity which the Business Development team then presented to external clients and partners.

In an innovative move,  Manchester-based Pannone held workshops to engage its 610-strong workforce and discuss the firm’s values and visual identity.

Business Development Director Tim Dixon-Phillip said: “Our rebrand was not just about the new logo. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our clients and each other to agree what differentiates us in the legal market.

“It’s not what we do that sets us apart from our competitors but the way that we do it. Our rebrand reflects a modern and progressive firm which fights for its clients.”

As part of the rebrand Pannone has launched a new website which has been designed and built by London-based digital communications agency, Intendance.

The cutting-edge site reflects the diversity of the firm and provides each division with an excellent platform to communicate with their current and potential clients.

The site is also designed to further enhance the Pannone brand online and exploit the opportunities in the digital market.

The rebrand comes at an exciting time for Pannone which, under the leadership of Emma Holt, is going through a period of radical change to take advantage of the opportunities in the evolving legal market.

Since taking over at the helm last July, Emma redrafted the partnership agreement in order to create an executive board with strategic decision-making powers, implemented differential profit sharing for partners and restructured the fee earning teams into five divisions.

It is a move that has seen Emma honoured for her thought-leading and progressive management style. At the start of 2011, Emma was named in The Lawyer magazine’s Hot 100 in the management category, while in March she scooped the coveted Partner of the Year accolade at the Manchester Legal Awards.
