Today I read about a new app designed to help people with spinal cord injury.

There is an app for everything these days so it was not a surprise for me when I read about a breakthrough app for victim of spinal cord injury.

Andy Farell who is tetraplegic because of a water skiing accident is a big fan of the app.  He says that the new technology has helped him regain a feeling of normality.  The new app is a quick and easy way for people with limited use of their hands and upper limbs to access information about spinal cord injury using a tablet or smartphone.  The app is still being developed but currently includes useful details of transport, financial and legal matters, employment, bladder care, assistance dogs, clothing, disability service providers, accessible places to visit and news about spinal cord injury.

It sounds like the app could be a great benefit to the spinal cord injured community.
