Vomiting bug problems continue at the Luabay Lanzarote Beach in Spain

Just last month I blogged about the Luabay Lanzarote Beach regarding various concerns, including reports of sickness mentioned online by holidaymakers staying at this resort.

Holiday illness claims Spain

It would appear the issues remain ongoing as one tourist alleges that after visiting this resort with his family, he and his wife fell ill with a bug that other people were also suffering with.

A second reviewer describes their stay here as a birthday present that turned into an awful experience, with one of their party violently sick throughout one night of their stay. A few mornings later another member of their group would fall ill and then another after that.

Nasty smells in the restaurant entrance area also seem to be one of the main complaints from various accounts I have read.

Others also claim to have picked up this bug, with at least a couple of visitors stating that they were served raw/undercooked chicken.

If anyone has travelled to this resort in recent months and suffered illness or any form of stomach bug during their stay, they should consult their doctor upon return to the UK and keep receipts for any medication purchased together with copies of any written complaints made in resort.

We would be very interested to hear from any holidaymakers that have suffered from a similar illness. If you have suffered from food poisoning whilst abroad, then call our specialist litigation solicitors for immediate advice.
