Guests fall ill at the Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort in Egypt
Whilst it may not yet be the holiday season, there will still be many holidaymakers who are travelling abroad, a lot of them on all-inclusive holidays.

Holiday illness claims Egypt
It would appear from recent reviews online that tourists staying at the all-inclusive Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort on Makadi Bay, Egypt are in danger of becoming ill with symptoms of a gastric nature.
One reviewer states that there are better places to go as they had fallen ill and would not recommend this hotel. They have also alleged that every person they spoke to within the complex had either experienced diarrhoea or vomiting for themselves, or knew someone in their party that had had it.
Another young couple complain that the food in the main buffet is disgusting and that there are numerous hygiene problems with this hotel. It is claimed that this had caused the unhappy customer’s partner to contract a bacterial infection, which required a visit from the doctor due to the extent of their symptoms.
I last wrote about illness at this resort in May 2011 and I would also remind readers that we have successfully acted for clients who were ill at this particular hotel in May / June 2009.
If anyone has travelled to this resort in recent months and suffered illness or any form of stomach bug during their stay, they should consult their doctor upon return to the UK and keep receipts for any medication purchased together with copies of any written complaints made in resort.
We would be very interested to hear from any holidaymakers that have suffered from a similar illness. If you have suffered from food poisoning whilst abroad, then call our specialist litigation solicitors for immediate advice.
