The work of trainees in our Corporate Finance team
The Corporate Finance team has a high level of integration with many other groups in the firm. A trainee acting on a corporate finance transaction is likely to act as a project manager pulling together elements from around the firm, particularly in relation to the employment and insolvency teams.
This helps trainees develop excellent organisation skills and to gain a flavour of other groups across the firm. A trainee in the corporate group is likely to be involved in registering securities at Companies House, corporate acquisitions and mergers, attend a variety of client meetings and is likely to get the opportunity to attend ‘completion meetings’ where acquisitions are finalised and signed.
