The work of trainees in our Construction, Engineering and Projects team
The Construction, Engineering and Projects team undertakes a wide variety of work. Broadly, that work can be divided into two categories – contentious and non-contentious – but even within those categories you can find yourself doing work for a large international client one minute, then the next you will be doing work on a file for one of the firm’s Court of Protection clients.
The team's work is contract based – so you will need to be able to present definitions of terms and describe their effect in simple and precise terms. Other tasks include drafting warranties, settlement agreements and other documents, as well as writing letters, instructing experts, undertaking research and attending meetings with clients, experts and Counsel.
