The work of trainees in our Medical Negligence team
As a trainee in medical negligence the work load is as varied as you could ever hope for. The Medical Negligence team at Pannone is one of the leading teams in the UK and as such the majority of cases a trainee will be assisting on are complex, high value cases.
The type of work a trainee can be asked to complete in can range from the initial work arranging funding through to assisting to prepare for trial and all that comes in between. Typical trainee tasks include drafting witness statements, drafting letters of instruction to medical experts, attending conferences with barristers and experts to take notes, attending court hearings and inquests, as well as dealing with new case calls.
Life is never dull as a trainee in medical negligence and with the team structure there is always the support of your supervising partner, as well as the other trainees and paralegals who will help out if required.
The Medical Negligence team is a friendly seat where the trainees are given a high level of responsibility and get to work on some of the most interesting and high profile clinical negligence cases in the country.
