Each trainee will normally have four, six month seats in at least three teams. The trainees choose their seats themselves, the only restriction being whether the chosen seat is available. Second year trainees get first choice.
Whilst we have an in-house training programme, our training is 90% "doing" and the seats in different teams are the main way in which you are trained. We have an "open door" policy and partners and fee-earners are always happy to help and advise trainees.
When you apply for our vacation placement, you will be able to choose three teams to spend a day in as a "taster" of the work we are involved in - we will choose the other two for you!
