The Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal
The Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal is the only charity in the UK entirely dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. Currently, 1 in 10 women and 1 in 1,000 men will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Through the funding of vital medical research, the Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal aims to make 1 in 10, none in 10.
Work being done at the Nightingale Centre and Genesis Prevention centre, based at Wythenshawe Hospital, will benefit both women and men all over the country.

Our involvement:
In July 2011 Pannone Solicitors made a contribution of £3,000 to The Genesis Appeal’s Tam Prev study which is looking into the use of Tamoxifen for the prevention of breast cancer in pre-menopausal women aged 33-46 years.
Pannone Solicitors have joined forces with Genesis and have created a special offer for those supporters of the charity who come to Pannone Solicitors to make their Wills. Members of our team ran on behalf of The Genesis Appeal at the BUPA Great North run raising £2,278.
In October 2011 of our team ran in the Liverpool Marathon on behalf on Genesis and we also supported the Annual Ladies Lunch event, which is now in its fifth year.
