Carbon monoxide close call – Children on school bus poisoned by fumes

Four children have been treated for carbon monoxide poisoning from after fumes were detected in their school bus near Swaffham on Monday 20th February 2012.

Paramedics and the Fire Service were called when the alert was raised by pupils on the bus who could smell exhaust fumes.

Ambulance crews treated the children at the scene and two were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn, as they were having trouble breathing.
