Workplace accidents are one of the most common types of accident.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) state that in 2010 and 2011 there were 115,000 injuries reported under RIDDOR.

Various workplace accidents can happen many are minor, but sadly some lead to serious injuries both of which you are entitled to be compensated for.

Workplace accidents can be easily avoided as all employers owe employees a duty of care and to provide a safe working environment. If not, they may be breaking the law, which entitles the employee to bring a claim for any injuries caused as a result of their negligence.

Many people are afraid of bringing a workplace accident claim against their employers. However, everyone has a civil and legal right to claim compensation as a result of a workplace accident.
