Connect2Law – the legal network

Connect2Law is the UK’s leading legal referral and support network – operated by law firms for law firms.

The network enables member firms to offer their clients a full service proposition by referring work that they cannot undertake themselves while benefiting from a written non-poaching agreement and a share of the fees.
 
Connect2Law has partnered with 20 law firms across the UK who have become our regional ‘Hubs’ and manage the network in their local area.
 
Our 2,000 member firms enjoy a host of benefits including:

• Fee share and non-poaching agreement
  We operate a simple and easy to use referral scheme. For accepted cases, we pay a fee share which will represent a percentage of our profit costs and may also involve an upfront fee being paid to the referring firm.

  We also provide all members with a written non-poaching agreement, ensuring that they retain any clients referred to us and that we do not market our services to that client.

• Free enquiry line
  Members can access a wealth of information from our specialist lawyers and management through our free enquiry line. Think of us as your ‘colleague down the corridor’. We can not only help with legal queries, but also anything related to running a successful law firm.
• CPD courses
  We offer a range of CPD seminars across the UK covering legal, management and support topics. Members can take advantage of heavily discounted CPD courses, free in-house training sessions and the chance to network at our social events.
• Lexcel consultancy
  If you are looking to achieve the Lexcel Practice Management Standard, we have a national network of Law Society Accredited consultants who have agreed discounted daily rates for Connect2Law members and a free initial consultation.
• Professional indemnity insurance (PII)
  In 2010, over 25% of the Connect2Law membership renewed their Professional Indemnity Insurance through our exclusive scheme, many of whom were able to reduce their premiums in a difficult market.
• CostController
  The UK’s most successful legal buying group is free to access for Connect2Law members. We have combined the spending power of our membership to reduce business overheads, such as telecoms, stationery and utilities, and source high quality, trusted suppliers to the legal industry.
